Tamara Guirao-Espiñeira, CAAC Coordinator
Politologist. After her degree studies in Spain and France, she specialized on EU affairs (Institut d’études Européennes, Belgium) and Economic Integration Processes (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain).
From Namibia to the Atlantic Arc, she’s been working since 2004 in the international actions of local and regional authorities. Since 2009, she’s been the coordinator of the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities, where she has notably leaded the lobby campaign for the Atlantic Strategy and contributed to the creation of CECICN.
She’s an expert on communication strategies in an international context. She was the URBACT trainer for Spanish Local Action Groups in 2013. She speaks five languages and has received several Literature Prizes for her tales and poems.
